CDTooling Carbide Tipped Stack Cutting Annular Cutters are designed with a special tooth geometry which enables you to smoothly drill through multiple plates at once, where standard non-modified cutters cannot. Manufactured with a special inner diameter grind allowing them to cut cylindrical slugs without leaving the Slugs with a “top hat brim”. Enabling multiple slugs to build up inside the cutter, which are then cleanly ejected once the final plate is drilled

CDTooling Tungsten Carbide Tipped Annular Cutters are equipped with a spiral flute which creates optimum chip removal and
seizure is virtually impossible. These annular cutters are used e.g. in hardened  materials such as HARDOX steel, stainless steels
and high tensile strength such as railway tracks. The Tungsten Carbide Tipped teeth of the cutter can be sharpened these cutters are
less susceptible to breakage than standard High Speed Steel Cutters

These annular cutters have an increased practical application, as they are suitable for
use on machinery requiring Weldon Fitment and with adapter machinery with Nitto Fitment.

An annular cutter (also called as core drill, core cutter, broach cutter, Trepanning drill or cup-type cutter is a hollow,
multiple cutting edges cutting tool used to make/drill holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
An annular cutter cuts only an annular groove at the periphery of the hole and leaves a solid core or slug at the hole center.
Annular cutter is a substitute for slower, more expensive and less efficient Twist drills and Hole saws.
The function of Annular Cutters is more or less same as a hole saw but differs in geometry and material.
Annular cutters are faster, easier and are more accurate than the conventional twist drills or drill bits.

An annular cutter or core drill removes the material from the metal to create cylindrical holes in a circular cross section.
An annular cutter, unlike drill bits, cuts only on the periphery of the hole to be made.
Annular cutters use almost the same method as concrete core drills, but are for metal drilling.
